WFMS Onboarding RISE Course

This growing Music School hired new music instructors and some had limited experience working with children. The new instructors needed to learn policies, best practices and positive strategies for managing children.
I created an onboarding course using Articulate 360 Rise & Storyline, Vyond, Camtasia, and Canva that included best practices, scenario learning for classroom management, & job aids to be posted at school.
The newly hired teachers were mostly in their 20's, recent college graduates, and had some experience with children, but limited or no experience teaching groups of children.
New Hire process went ten days faster using the Onboarding Doc. In feedback, new Teachers reported feeling much more confident about managing students after completing the scenarios involving classroom management.
